From the city that never sleeps, Brooklyn born Jenn Pinto brings you a library full of raw, brave, charming, and wicked screenplays. Jenn Pinto began her journey into writing in 2004 after studying Film at Hunter College. After several failed attempts to produce a full screenplay in NYC she made the move to Los Angeles, CA in 2011. It wasn’t too long before Jenn Pinto caught the eye of Executive Producer Veronica Garcia (New Conquest Pictures) and she was offered the opportunity to write a dance movie. On June 2013 The Next Dance, a coming of age script that taught you how to follow your dreams and fight for what you believe in, went into production with a star-studded cast; Jonathon McDaniel (Hit The Floor), Sabrina Bryan (DWTS) and Cindy Herron-Braggs (En Vogue R&B Group). The Next Dance released on DVD in January 2015 nationwide with rave reviews. Jenn Pinto went back into the lab and brought to the table The Dirty 30 a faith based romantic comedy script The Dirty 30 starring Ricky (Sean Riggs), his best friend Jessie (Giovanni Watson) to play match maker, Samantha (Nafessa Williams). Legendary actress Jackee Harry was so impressed by the writing, she made a cameo appearance as Madam Linda Daniels. The Dirty 30 released on DVD nationwide in June 2014 and was accepted into the Indie Film Night Film Festival and screened at the Graunmans Chinese Theatre in Hollywood in September 2014. With the success of The Next Dance & The Dirty 30, Jenn Pinto decided to switch things up and write a psychological thriller, The Other Side. November 2014 The Other Side, a twisted script on the battle between good and evil within yourself, was screened at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival to two sold out screenings and later released nationwide on DVD. Jenn Pinto’s writing shows depth, range and her fearless genres leave you wondering not what else she can write but is there anything she can’t write. A force to be reckoned with, being already labeled as the female Tyler Perry; Jenn Pinto is definitely making noise as the next young female writer in Hollywood. She will be making her directorial debut in the documentary Birth Control.
